I took a weekend recently to visit my daughter in Toronto. She lives in an area that feels like a small, welcoming community, and has everything she needs within walking distance, including the perfect hillside for viewing sunsets.
The weather didn’t quite cooperate with our plans to wander the neighbourhood and discover new things, so we spent most of our time together trying to keep warm and dry. There was a break in the rain one evening and so we headed to “the hill” to watch the sun say goodnight. The rain had other ideas and we had to leave before the sun took its final bow, but not before it gave us a bit of a show.
